About Us
Rooted in the Land. Raised with Purpose. Delivered with Care.

At Southern Roots Supply Co., we believe the best food comes from animals raised the way nature intended—on open pastures, with fresh air, sunshine, and space to roam. Our journey began not with a business plan, but with a belief: our family—and yours—deserves better food.

A Farm That Grew From a Vision
What started as a small homestead dream quickly became a way of life. Years ago, we began raising a few chickens and growing our own vegetables to feed our family more honestly. No chemicals. No mystery meat. Just food we could trust. Word got out, neighbors started asking for eggs, and before long, we had more demand than supply.
That's when we knew: our farm could serve more than just our table—it could nourish our entire community.
Our Mission
We’re here to provide clean, ethically raised food that supports:
-
Healthy families — free from hormones, GMOs, and unnecessary antibiotics
-
Happy animals — with room to roam, scratch, graze, and just be animals
-
Healthy soil — using regenerative practices that build the land, not strip it
We don't take shortcuts. Our cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished. Our chickens live on pasture and feast on bugs and sunshine. Our bees forage on wildflowers. And our pecan trees thrive in naturally rich soil, untouched by chemicals.
Who We Are
We are —farmers, caretakers, and proud stewards of this land in Liberty County Texas. When you buy from us, you’re not just buying food. You’re supporting:
-
A family-owned farm
-
Local jobs and local ecology
-
A better food system, one meal at a time
Why It Matters
Today, more than ever, knowing where your food comes from matters. When you shop at the grocery store, you get labels. When you shop with us, you get truth—real people, real animals, real food.
We invite you to join our farm family. Explore the land through our photos. Visit us during our seasonal events. And most of all, taste the difference that love, care, and good stewardship makes.
From our pasture to your plate—welcome to the farm.
